How Bimmer Garage researches, writes, corrects and funds its content.

We want our guides to be accurate, useful and honest. This page explains how we work.

Original content

All articles are written by our team of enthusiasts. We do not copy text from other websites. Where we use data such as specifications, we rely on commonly published manufacturer figures and widely accepted technical knowledge.

Community posts

Members can write posts about their own cars and experiences. Every community post is read by an editor before it is published: we check that it is original, helpful and fair, and we may ask the author for changes or decline it. Community posts are marked with the author's name and profile, their photos are uploaded by the author, and links in them are marked as user content. Write a post.

Accuracy and corrections

Specifications can vary by market and model year. If you find an error, email bmwe60lovers1@gmail.com and we will review and correct it. Articles show their subject clearly and include a note when information is general or approximate.

Not professional advice

Our buying and maintenance guides are general information. Always consult a qualified technician before buying, repairing or modifying a vehicle.

Independence and advertising

We are not affiliated with BMW AG. The site may show advertising and accept voluntary donations. Advertisers and donors have no influence on what we write.

Images, models and sounds

Third-party assets are credited on our About page and used according to their licences or with permission.
